Armor of the Elements

In a realm very different from our own lived a very skilled blacksmith who, over the course of many years of intense labor, crafted a suit of armor so strong it was resistent to all elements otherwise known to have little protection against.

He spent endless hours, year after year searching for the materials necessary and traveled to many different realms in the process. Finally in one such realm he found a very rare ore and began his work on the suit. After many more years he had nearly perfected the suit but it was not quite complete. The magic and poison resistance properties kept wearing off over time.

During one of his many days of testing he was attacked, murdered and the suit stolen by a race of ratman that, in this realm he lived in, dwelled in caves of flowing molten lava. The ratmen fled the realm after stealing the suit and ended up here in Valhalla.

For those of you adventure seekers that wish to seek out these ratmen be forewarned, they are not for the weak. The habitat in which they dwell is harsh and very hot. They are not a weak race what-so-ever.

Also, the suit was split up when it was stolen in case they were discovered and the someone attempted to steal the suit back. It is also very possible that they can and will replicate this suit now that they have it but only time will tell.

Travel in groups, do not try to seek them out alone. You just might not make it home alive.

The Loss

As many of you may or may not know, the entire suit of armor that the rats brought to this realm has been taken from them. Their numbers were greatly reduced and the remaining rats have wandered out into our realm to retake what they feel is rightly theirs, even though they themselves stole it from someone.

Be forewarned that they will not stop until they recover the suit of armor, unless of course they are completely wiped out.

They will be searching high and low for it so be careful, they may just jump out at you in your favorite hunting spot.

They have begun setting up camps throughout the realm and will stop at nothing to recover every piece of armor.

Just a heads up, I'd hate to think what might occur if you did not know.

The Discovery

After doing some research of my own on these rats that have infested our lands it seems I have come across some information about a weapon that is the bane of their existance. A slayer type weapon if you will.

I will post more as I find it but there has also been some chatter of late from people finding Elemental Ore on the rats. This is new since none was ever found before, but perhaps just a sign of their increased efforts to make another suit...
